Burn Notice

    Episode 42

Partners In Crime

Original air date:  02/18/2010

Filmed the last week of July, 2009.

The episode starts off with a review of what has been happening with regard to Michael and Gilroy. Then we see Michael and Fiona across the street from the ugly Polish Military Intelligence’s offices. We are introduced to Conrad.

This was filmed just outside the studio. Michael and Fiona are parked at the studio near where Madeline was receiving her award at the end of episode 40,  Noble Causes. The Offices are in a vacant building across S. Bayshore Dr., 2675 S. Bayshore Dr., Coconut Grove.

Michael goes to his meeting with Conrad. He has the meeting set at the Miami Vice safe house from the Miami Vice episode # 4, Hit List. This was filmed at the light house in Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, at the south end of Key Biscayne.

Miami Vice, Hit List, 1984.

Michael assumed the wrong approach and the meet does not go well. Fiona has to step in and assist Michael.

After the teaser we are back at Michael’s place (studio set).  Michael calls Sam about a job. Sam is in a high rise.  Location unknown.

Then we see Sam and Michael head out to meet the new client, Isabella. Filmed on location at 3003 Seminole Street , Miami.

Then we see Fiona meeting with Conrad at a bar/restaurant. This was filmed near the studio in Coconut Grove. At the Chart House Restaurant, 3371 Pan American Dr. Episode 30, Question and Answer used the grounds of the Chart House for a meeting with the kidnapper where the client gets beaten up. The Chart House was also used in episode 16, Comrades (Sam wines and dines the agriculture executive), episode 31, End Run (Fiona steals credit card information) and episode 34, The Hunter where Sam and Fiona stuff a bad guy in the trunk of the car).

Next we see Sam and Michael in Michael’s apartment (set).

From there we go to the fashion party. This was filmed at the Viceroy Hotel Miami, 485 Brickell Ave. Here we meet Tim.

Next we go to Isabella’s house where we find her dead. Filmed on location at 3003 Seminole Street, Miami.

Then the gang all meet back at Michael’s (set).

From there we go to Isabella’s funeral which was also filmed at the Viceroy Hotel.

Then we go to Madeline’s house (set) where Fiona gets some old pictures of Michael.

Then Michael and Sam listen in on Ric and Damon at  a small store in a strip mall. Thanks to Kevin who e-mailed me, we now know that this was filmed at the Harbor Plaza on Key Biscayne. Thanks Kevin.

Then we go to Michael’s loft.

From there we go back to the Viceroy where Sam poses as a lab tech and Michael applies pressure to Damon over the phone from just outside the Viceroy. He calls Damon out and applies a little Westen pressure.

Then Fiona has another meeting with Conrad. I believe this was also filmed at the Chart House in Coconut Grove.

From there Fiona returns to Michael’s place. There they go over the plan which includes an aerial view of the docks in the 6700 block of NE 7th Ct., on the bay just north of Legion Park.

Then we go there to see the plan unfold. Tim panics and is caught by the police.

The gang regroups here as Tim is taken into custody.

Then we return to the Viceroy where Sam again plays the Lab Tech./C.S.I.

We stay at the Viceroy for a meeting between Michael and Damon.

Then we go to Michael’s to see Fiona sabotaging the sidearm Michael will be providing for Damon to shoot Tim.

From their we return to the store where Damon and Ric fight.  Both are arrested by the police. The plan comes together at the Harbor Plaza.

Then we return to the Viceroy.

Then Michael goes to his mother’s house where their relationship continues to get better.

Then Fiona goes back to the Chart House where she obtains the flight info. from Conrad.

The episode ends there.
