The episode starts with a review of episode 37, Long Way Back.

Original air date: January 21, 2010.

Then we see Michael rendering care to Fiona.  This looks like a set.

Next we go to 3470 East Coast to the Hotel Mimo in Mid Town Miami.  Where Michael is expected and as he goes up to room 302 a fire bomb is triggered.

Then Michael, Sam and Fiona meet at Michael’s place (studio set).

Then we go outside to the studio’s parking lot to film the impound yard scene.

Then Michael calls Sam to get his help. Sam is at the rear of the C.G.C.C. Behind City Hall at the marina by pier 3.

Next we return to Michael’s place where Sam returns from the records office having failed to obtain the records. Then Madeline goes to the county records office. This was filmed where Burn Notice started. On NE 81st Street off Biscayne Blvd. just west of NE 80th Street. Michael was standing in front of this building at the very start of the pilot.

Area at right of picture seen behind Madeline and is what told me where this was filmed.

Yellow arrow points to the door that Madeline walks through.

East end of office where Burn Notice Started.  Michael was standing here waiting to get picked up.

This is how the office looked on 02/02/2009.

Next we go to 104 Buena Vista Ave. in Mid Town Miami.

Michael introduces himself. This driving scene starts on Mid Town Blvd. Headed north away from NE 29 Street.

Michael enters from NW 31 Street.

The scene moves along MidTown Blvd., northward.  Cutting back and forth. Then it cuts to MidTown Blvd. Headed north past 34th Street.

Then Michael makes his stop.

This occurs on Mid Town Blvd. just north of 34th Street.

After the meet we find ourselves at Carlito’s at the rear of the C.G.C.C.. They are not very concerned about making it look like Deco Drive anymore. They clearly show the exterior set of Michael’s place.

Next Michael goes inside the C.G.C.C. To the set of Madeline’s house where Michael talks with Madeline about assets. Then he checks in on Fiona which I believe is also a set. Then we go to Big Fish Restaurant (now Closed) on SE 5th Street.

Michael takes a drive up to Boca. The filming for this drive starts on NE 81st Street just east of NE 4th Place and then turns north on NE 4th Place. After that the exterior is purposely made fuzzy.  This is the first time I recall this approach on Burn Notice so I think it was all filmed in one spot.

They arrive at Jed’s. This was actually Ted Vernon’s Specialty Automotive shop. It is not in Boca but is only a matter of yards away from where the drive started on NE 81st Street.

Red arrow = Jed’s

Green arrow = drive starts

Yellow arrow = County records office.

Blue arrow = well if you recognize the pool,  shame shame, lol.

Michael takes off driving down NE 79th Street.

After a brief stop at his place, Michael is off to the Miami Marine Stadium.

After a brief and unsatisfying chat on the phone, Michael goes to Fiona’s, this looks like a set. After working on a bug with Fiona we next return to Big Fish Restaurant on the Miami River.

From Big Fish Michael goes to his mother’s house. The set at the C.G.C.C..  Michael gets a call from Sam that leads to the gang hitting the road. This scene starts on NE 8th Street just west of N. Miami Ave. headed west thru Overtown.

They travel along NW 8th Street until reaching the rail road crossing at NW 1st Ave where our trio ruins the bad guy’s plans.

Next,  they return to Michael’s at the C.G.C.C.. Then to Madeline’s.  From there we go back to NE 81st Street to the county records office. After that we see Sam at Big Fish before the gang hits the road again.

The drive opens at 333 S Miami Ave outside the new federal courthouse. They head south over the Miami River.

After crossing the bridge they find themselves headed west on SW 6th Street. How this would happen in reality I don’t know but I guess they used a little Miami movie magic. In the screen capture below behind the Corvette, we see the location of the phone booth used near the end of Miami Vice episode 15, Smuggler’s Blues. Where Crockett and Tubb’s take the bad buy to await a phone call from the head kidnapper.

The Corvette crashes into a truck at the end of SW 6th Street where it meets SW 1st Ave..

Our guys take off and the police arrive. One police car even arrives from the short dead end street, ooopps!

Next Michael and Fiona wrap up the case with the client at Carlito’s (rear of the C.G.C.C.). Then Michael goes inside to the set of Madeline’s house. After fixing things up with his mother we see Michael arrive at his place, at the rear of the C.G.C.C. There he meets Sam and sets up a meeting with Gilroy over the phone. The episode ends there.
